{Wesley & Rachel}

I was so happy when Wes and Rachel had asked me to photograph their wedding! They both met in Quito, Ecuador while Wes was shooting a video for the Alliance Academy and Rachel was teaching. They stayed friends for awhile and eventually started dating in January. After getting engaged this past June, they both knew it was going to be a busy month and a half before they got married August 6th! Especially since both of them were out of the country for half that time! I don't know how they did it but the outcome was a beautiful wedding and celebration of two people who were truly meant to be together.

Pittsford Park :: Lauren

Me and Lauren went on a little adventure in Pittsford Saturday. we went looking for a park to take pictures in and we found this one. It turned out to be the weirdest "park" ever, more like a single trail and at times even went through backyards! despite the oddity of this place we managed to get some good shots. The one above is one of my favorites!

Summertime

Even though summer is nearing the end... I feel like It's gone by so quickly. and knowing that cold weather might be just around the corner has me relishing in the joys of summer such as lemons.

A Noble Find

There is something about bookstores. Maybe it's the overwhelming amount of knowledge and words packed into one space, but there is something inspiring and magical about walking into a bookstore. I often like to go and just roam around and look at different books. Last weekend I went to Barnes & Noble to find a particular book. I decided it was about time I started reading Harry Potter and jump on the band wagon, especially after seeing all the movies. I came in with a mission and right as I was heading to the checkout line something grabbed my attention. I admit I judge a book by it's cover and often buy books JUST because I like the cover (bad habit.... still have 2 books I bought a year ago that I've yet to read). So when I walked by these books two things happened, 1. these were books that I've always wanted to read; 2. The covers took my breath away. without hesitation I thought to myself, "I must have these books." it was a no-brainer! I just have to share with you the beauty and time and thought that went into designing these books. These are how books should be made right?! ugh. love.

Each book has the actual author's signature printed in the back of the book. Absolutely wonderful!

6 Weeks :: Charlie

As I stepped into Stacy and Tom's beautiful home I knew it was going to be a great shoot! Charlie was one of the calmest babies I've ever met and was mesmerized by my camera making him a perfect model! I had a great time photographing this little guy as well as his 2 accountant parents.
