I've always been fascinated with photography but it wasn't until I studied darkroom processes in high school that I fell in love. After encouragement from my photography teacher I decided this is something I should pursue more. I graduated from Houghton College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both painting and photography. I'm always learning something new and my photography is always growing.
I have a passion for photographing people, which might come from my interest in psychology. It's always interesting how much a face can say in a photograph. Capturing a moment, an idea, a feeling in body language and expression.
In my spare time I enjoy sprucing up my apartment and finding new ways to decorate, while taking care of my cat named Willow. I get commissioned to do some paintings as well which always keeps me busy!
